George Hardebeck is a designer who focus at the intersection of digital storytelling and physical site-specific installations. He manages the studios and operations at Virginia Tech's premier research facility in immersive technologies, the Cube. A 4-story black box theater with a 3rd order ambisonics HDLA, Qualysis camera array, and a 16' tall circular 3D projection system. George freelances with museum and events nationally to design and install media experiences using projection mapping, XR, and physical computing to deliver linear and nonlinear narratives. Most recent clients include the Natural History Museum of Utah, the Smithsonian Lemelson Center, and Moogfest Music and Arts Festival.
