30 x 30 IAWA
Commissioned in the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the International Archive of Women in Architecture (IAWA) 30x30 celebrates the achievements and contributions of women to the field of architecture. I engineered a multimedia projection that uses media collected as part of IAWA’s archival research to show glimpses into each woman’s lives. Each call only shows a small portion of the database allowing audience members to return to the installation a nearly infinite number of times and still see new works and women. Recent installations have become remotely updatable, as new media and information is added by archivists the installation updates daily to reflect the changes.
